Podcasting Shenanigans
First off, for those eager to hear the audio I mentioned that I was going to do in my last posting, I recorded the 10th Skeptic Conservative show..on the 10th! How clever of me (this was totally unplanned so I’m really not clever 😦 ). Details and synopsis pending, but you can listen to the audio-only version here.
I am becoming a frequent caller on Flyover Territory’s show, Still Flying over the Heartland. He’s a good guy and does a great job of collecting audio clips from the news and opinion shows for any particular week. He’s a comedian and he can be a little ‘rough’ at times, but I respect his take on most things when he gets into srs bsns. Check him out!
Skeptic Conservative Episode 9, broadcast on October 3rd, is inexplicably popular all of a sudden and I can’t figure out where the listens are coming from. I hated that show! And yet people love it. I don’t get it. It’s the one screenshotted above – since people are listening in “droves” (5 new views daily is droves for me) I’m going to give it extra treatment in post production.
Youtube Comment Battle
See my channel for the recent activity – apparently a few Occupy Wall Street activists got cranky after I commented on this video. In sum, there’s more then a few occupy activists who feel that nasty rhetoric or physical shoving and what-have-you are justified by aggressive questioning. I got a whiny pm that I am highly tempted to post and respond to publicly. I’m already considering orienting the next podcast around a further expansion of my ire towards Occupy’s tactics. What say you, audience?
Look for an update in the next few days, possibly thursday. If I haven’t finished production on SC9 at the very least ya’all should throw things at me. Till then, be safe!
