Another Twist in Gunwalker — 12/05/2011

The Gunwalker saga took a twist for the More Serious after the House investigative committee headed by Rep. Darryl Issa (R-San Diego) turned up evidence of money laundering by Eric Holder’s justice department. Link to a PJMedia story, a blogging site that has done excellent coverage of gunwalker and other topics.

Skeptic Conservative 12! — 12/07/2011

The 12th episode of the podcast, covering the bust up of Occupy LA, Obama’s new nationalism speech, Gunrunner, Herman Cain’s fall from the GOP field, and speculation about a big announcement Glenn Beck made the next day regarding Mercury One, an in-progress charity arm of his company.

A Closing of the drysift Saga — 12/17/2011

Me officially washing my hands of further discussion with drysift until they respond to my earlier points of contention. It was a fun, fascinating ride, and I think a reasonable depiction of the attitude of a – rabid – occupy supporter.

The 2nd podcast this month – topics included the end of American involvement of Iraq, geopolitical implications, drones, and a guest call from flyoverterritory. Also, a fascinating discussion regarding lightbulbs.

Guest Posting – Sharia Law in the Middle East — 12/18/2011

Canadian_95_RTS debuts as occasional commentator by sharing an essay he wrote  for school discussing Sharia law and it’s clashes with western society. Well written piece and worth a look.

BREAKING: Kim Jong Il of North Korea – DEAD — 12/18/2011

Posting done to share a number of articles breaking down the situation in North Korea and speculating on how things could go in the future. It seems that we’re getting a ‘stay the course’ route, though tensions with South Korea remain high.

Tactical Experiment – US vs. Canada — 12/21/2011

The opening post in a series that will run in the background for many months – a thought experiment regarding just what would happen if the United States decided to go to war with Canada. Not serious, meant to be a ‘for fun’ exercise.
