Hey folks! The next few days or so will be a bit busy, so I won’t be writing -as- much for this. I will be writing…papers for school. Hooray! I have NOT forgotten my que or ongoing discussions, never fear. I just have to bump things around when time gets short.
However, I’ll still be absorbing the news and sharing the occasional stand-out story, such as this one Rodger Hedgecock did where he interviewed Rick Santorum and did research on his background and experience. Remarks that stood out especially were ones regarding just how Rick Santorum would try to achieve his goals, an area Santorum is weak in and a significant one.
Rodger Hedgecock is one of the best out there when it comes to researching candidates and issues. This just may be changing my lukewarm attitude towards Santorum in comparison to the other. How about you?

I have to say the article is interesting but the site is disgusting (I don’t mean design wise).

Give it a chance, the articles are generally very well thought out and not -too- confrontational, but there are exceptions. It’s also one of the few sites were more often then not the comment sections can be insightful.
I would be interested to know exactly what articles get you going, haha. Just out of curiosity more than anything.
There was one comparing people who support abortion to Nazis.
I can understand why that would be offputting XD I wouldn’t call it the norm on the site though.
It’s an aggregate of 100 or so columnists, a dozen of which are regulars. Not everybody makes the front page, and I only tend to scan the front page anyways since it has the cream of the crop and the best analysis.
I assure you any articles I link from them won’t be violating Godwin’s law ;P
I took a deeper look at the site it is full of intolerant far right religious whackjobs. Even the ads that appear on the site are unnerving one about prepare for martial and it was advertising guns, bulletproof vests, etc. If I met any of these columnists in real life it wouldn’t take long for me to hurt them.
Hahaha.
Well, I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree, since I don’t think they’re intolerant right wing nutjobs, but I do appreciate you sharing your thoughts. IF you decide to read any of the PJMedia stuff I link in the future (which you certainly don’t have to) I would be interested to see specific counterpoints.
I’m working on the response regarding the ultra orthodox jews, I should have it out later today!
