  1. LOL, Observer – I think we all are!

    • Yeah – the audience at large (~250 with combined wordpress and youtube followers accounting for estimated duplicates) is notoriously difficult to get to do -anything- besides just listen to the show or watch my youtube videos.

      Probably a less then 1% participation rate, when the average is supposed to be 5%.

      • you need a slightly more active fanbase. You need to do a better job at selling the site.

        I’m nearing the point where I’ll be comfortable balancing my blogging priorities. These past few months have been me worrying mostly about writing style and technique, podcasting, and just being able to write often and podcast on a roughly regular schedule. Since I’ve been able to accomplish these goals -fairly- well while having a rather busy school schedule, it will be easier for me to feel better about doing more selling and getting stuff back onto youtube with regularity.

        Time and energy are big factors here. School absorbs a lot of my tolerance for ‘not fun’ work and blog selling for me falls into the ‘not fun’ area. I’ll get over myself though, it’ll just take a bit. Being able to credibly point at an active blog helps though.
